Electric scooter and electric bicycle batteries can last 3 years or more if they are properly cared for and maintained.
To get the longest life out of your electric scooter or electric bicycle batteries recharge them after every ride, even very small rides. After short rides you can recharge the batteries immediately, however, after long rides, it is best to wait around 30 minutes to let the batteries cool down before recharging them. Leaving an electric scooter or electric bicycle battery pack in a partially discharged state for more than a few hours of time may cause internal oxidation of the batteries which lowers the useful lifespan of the battery pack.
When replacing electric scooter and electric bicycle batteries replace all of the batteries at the same time and with the same brand of batteries. If different brands of batteries are mixed together the different battery chemistries may cause internal oxidation of the batteries and lower the lifespan of the battery pack.

When an electric scooter or electric bike is in storage recharge the batteries at least every 30 days. If they are not recharged at least every 3 months the batteries will internally oxidize causing a shortened battery lifespan and a lower mileage range for the electric scooter or electric bike.

One should keep the tires inflated properly since smaller tires lose air pressure fast. This may result in the tube rotating inside the tire during both braking and acceleration; as a result, the valve stem may get destroyed. Also, this shall require the motor to work harder resulting in burnt armatures or brushes.
It's foolish to ride electric scooters through wet surfaces; the water or mud can damage the electrical components

Leaving Your Bike For Service

Our aim is always to get service completed on all customer bikes as quickly as possible to ensure that our riders get the most out of their riding season. Sometimes we must order parts or the repair requires more time to properly address and we must keep a customer's bike for more than one day.

After receiving a phone call advising that repairs have been completed, customers are given five business days to come and retrieve their bike. If their bike is not picked up after five business days, customers will be charged a storage fee of $25.00 per week.
